A formal admission review is required to add a co-majors, transfer and PhD track requests. The same admission standards used for external applicants will be used for internal applicants. The following materials are required:

• A nomination letter from a current ENVSC faculty member who is willing to serve as your major (or co-major) professor. This nomination should include a funding plan.
• A statement of purpose describing interest in the major and planned research
• An unofficial copy of ISU transcript.  If you are new to ISU, please provide transcript(s) from previous institutions
• A current resume or curriculum vitae

All materials should be sent in a single email and as PDF files to enscigrad@iastate.edu. The nomination letter can be sent directly from the faculty member if preferred, but must be sent as a PDF file.

If the application is approved by the program, a separate process will take place in Workday through the Graduate College.
